Power
Pilates is a comprehensive exercise system
lasting approximately one hour. An instructor
will take you through a series of exercises
and movements with an emphasis on your "core" musculature,
which includes stomach, back, buttock,
arms and legs. All movements promote strength,
stability and increase range of motion
of the joints. The movements are unlike
anything you've done before, as well as
the results.
What you can expect physically
will be a total change in your body. Posture
will improve, stomach and buttocks will become
more toned. Legs and arms will be leaner.
Your energy level will dramatically improve
as well. People around you will notice a
difference in your appearance.
In addition to small
group sessions, Power Pilates also offers
mat classes, which you don't have to make
an appointment for. These one-hour classes
incorporate all the principles and movements
of the Pilates workout without equipment.
Again the emphasis will be on stomach, back,
legs, arms and buttocks, as well as flexibility
and range of motion.
Your approach should
be to work out at least three times per week
and after ten sessions you will feel different.
After twenty sessions you will look different
and after thirty you will have a new body.
Power Pilates is a completely
different type of exercise system. At times
we will demand you work slowly so you can
feel what you're doing. Getting in touch
and feeling the muscle or joint you're exercising
is very important. If you put the time into
your workouts we promise you results.
