 Laura's
obsession with makeup began over 25 years
ago. She entered beauty school as a student
and returned as an instructor. From there
her involvement with the industry continued
to blossom. Laura began her professional
career working for prominent makeup companies
while simultaneously studying theater and
film make-up. Laura has worked with such
renowned luminaries as the late Audrey Hepburn,
Ginger Rogers, Henry Fonda, Robert Mitchum,
and Jane Russell, as well as Tom Cruise,
Brooke Shields, Jody Foster, Tony Curtis,
Debra Norville, Lisa Rinna, Bruce Springsteen,
Paul Simon, and many, many more. Laura opened
her studio on Manhattan's upper east side
in 1993. She balances working in TV behind
the scenes and working on-location at weddings
with running her studio.
She has trained an impressive
staff of artists to work both at her make-up
studio as well as off site events. She is
regularly featured on QVC with her special
line of products for their beauty solutions
show. She has also been the beauty advisor
to Biography magazine. Laura is constantly
quoted in national magazines and continues
to appear on national TV shows on CBS, NBC,
AMC and The Discovery Channel.
